SB10i is an ultra-compact subwoofer designed to extend the bandwidth of X4i and 5XT in installation applications requiring discretion and elegance. SB10i features one direct-radiating 10‘‘ transducer mounted in a bass-reflex tuned enclosure.
SB10i couples with compact short-throw enclosures to provide low-frequency content down to 27 Hz and impact with 124 dB of Max SPL. SB10i features L-Vents laminar vents that substantially reduce turbulence and port noise at high levels while also increasing LF efficiency.
Despite its slim profile and light weight, SB10i delivers the same sonic signature as larger subwoofers offering the recognized L-Acoustics contour when paired with X4i or 5XT, matching the needs of residential, commercial, luxury and hospitality spaces, museums, and more.

Physical

The SB10i enclosure is constructed of premium grade Baltic beech and birch plywood to ensure maximum acoustical and mechanical integrity. Its elegant design with a single rear technical interface housing all mounting points and speaker connections is ideal for premium integration looking for discretion.
The thickness optimization process ensures a low weight of 15 kg / 33 lb and the slim profile allows to tuck the subwoofer away or mount it on walls. Four rubber feet stabilize the SB10i on the ground and allows to stack two on top of each other.
SB10i features terminal connectors behind a connector sealing plate with gland nuts. The enclosure has been weatherized to achieve an IP55 rating for outdoor operations and can be custom-colored using RAL references to melt into any venue decor.
